This Furoshiki is made from 100%Kawamata silk from Fukushima, known as "the best silk in the Orient." The family crest is hand-dyed in Yamagata Prefecture. It is washable so it can be used for everyday wear.
Care Instructions
To care for 100% Kawamata silk, hand wash it in cold, lukewarm water 30°C with a pH-neutral or delicate detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals, machine washing, wringing, and direct sunlight. Gently squeeze out excess water with a towel, and hang to dry in the shade or iron on a cool setting with a cloth barrier.
